Massimo Monticelli

Massimo Monticelli is a fourth generation winemaker. He first started picking and pruning grapes in his grandfather’s farm before he could even speak and learned the family’s craft from his father, who has been making wine in California for over forty years. Massimo received degrees in Chemistry and Biology at the University of California at Irvine before earning his Masters in Enology and Viticulture at UC Davis. With the ideal combination of education, hands-on experience and passion, Massimo‚Äôs appreciation for the distinct characteristic of each vineyard and vintage shines through in every bottle.
