Wine Spectator Review by James Laube – 2009

Wine Spectator

Volta Wine’s Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2005 was reviewed by expert Californian wine critic James Laube, who has been a writer for Wine Spectator since 1980. We were pleased to see our score was a solid 92 as well as the accurate and expertly described taste and complexity of Volta’s Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 . Only 291 cases were made of Volta’s first vintage and it is sadly no longer available.

James Laube

First Vintage

The  Volta Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2005 is Volta’s first vintage and we hope to carry on and create the same excitement for our wines in the future. Quality is at the top of every vineyards hopes and wishes and we are no different and will remain protective of our land and fruits in order to provide the best wine that we can for Cabernet Sauvignon lovers. We would like to thank James Laube and Wine Spectator for the review and hope to forever improve and impress critics with refined palates such as his, as well as continue to please the casual wine drinker.
